How leadership, strategy and networking operate on preventive conservation<\/em> is the leitmotiv of the fourth edition of the Young Professionals Forum, Emerging skills for heritage conservation<\/em> the international sharing platform designed by the Centro Conservazione e Restauro \u201cLa Venaria Reale\u201d(CCR) together with the most prestigious international organizations for the preservation of cultural heritage. The main objective of the Forum is to enable easier access and positioning of cultural heritage professionals, thanks to the skills acquired and networks created.<\/p>\n

The Forum is structured in a series of live and ondemand content. Each partner will decline the theme with workshop activities (Workshops) and tutoring (Experts Meeting). The course will conclude with a workshop in presence in Venaria Reale followed by the final event of sharing results with the international community.<\/p>\n

The initiative is addressed to students and young professionals of cultural heritage and related disciplines.

The course can be purchased in a single FULL formula, at a cost of 120 \u20ac with the possibility of applying for scholarships to cover the total fee. FELLOWSHIPS
\n6 winners of a Call for Training, open from May 9 to 25, will have the opportunity to live a unique experience in presence in one of the majestic Savoy Royal Residences in Piemonte from 28, 29 and 30 June 2023! The winners will participate in “Preservation protocol for collections in Historical Residences”<\/em>, the final workshop organized by the CCR dedicated to preventive conservation and the final in presence event. Call for Training is reserved for those who have purchased the FULL course or have been awarded an IIC, Amici del CCR or Regione Piemonte Scholarship.
\nThe fellowships are sponsored by Fondazione Magnetto and IIC.<\/p>\n

In addition, we will award a fellowship, sponsored by Regione Piemonte, for a candidate coming from Syria presenting a focused on risk asset protection project in crisis areas. The winner will join the Young Professionals Forum 2023 and will be the protagonist of the opening of new relationships and different cultural and professional perspectives, perfect ambassador of the values that the Young Professionals Forum supports: openness, internationality, dialogue between cultures, desire to experience different and distant realities and to identify common reasons for exchange and growth. \nIIC is supporting 10 scholarships to participate in the online programme this year with preference for IIC members covering registration fees only. IIC are particularly keen to support individuals in priority regions and emerging economies especially Latin America and Caribbean, Africa and South East Asia. This reflects IIC’s commitment to making opportunities for learning and professional development more widely available, and affordable, across every region of the world. The IIC sponsored places will be open to students engaged in a university or learning programme for conservation, as well as early career practicing conservators currently engaged in either a public or a private capacity. Applicants who have registered and paid for a full place on the course are not eligible to apply for an IIC Scholarship.
