Il Centro Conservazione e Restauro “La Venaria Reale”
TheFoundation Centro Conservazione e Restauro “La Venaria Reale” operates for the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage through projects, research and advanced training activities.
The founding members which promoted its establishment in 2005, are the Ministry of Culture, Regione Piemonte, Città Metropolitana e Comune di Torino, Comune di Venaria Reale, Fondazione CRT, Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and Università degli Studi di Torino.
The CCR is located in the monumental complex of the Royal Palace in Venaria Reale, a UNESCO world heritage site: this evocative location hosts nine Conservation Laboratories, Scientific Laboratories, the Advanced Training School with the Educational Services and the Master’s Degree Course in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage of the University of Turin.
The statutory mission is supported by a strategic development plan based on three axes: Internationalisation, Innovation and Culture.
